The Project Navjeevan
Kalasugandh a registered organization under the project “NAVJEEVAN” provides free education, uniforms and textbooks to the poor children at “Navjeevan Prathmik Vidyamandir”, hunts for children in the surrounding slums to join the school and maintains a check on the regularity in attenndance.

Started with a small room in 1995, “Navjeevan Prathmik Vidyamandir” is now a recognised school with four rooms, 150 students, 6 well qualified teachers providing education upto seventh standard. To keep up with the competitive world, the school besides regular education also indulges in various contests and cultural programs like dance, drama, drawing, handwriting, essays etc. The school also conducts annual gathering wherein children receive the awards of appreciation.
Kalasugandh aims to have a school building with proper infrastructure and facilities providing education to the underprivileged students upto tenth division. But presently the organization encounters financial constraints even in meeting day to day needs of the school. Hence the organization plans to raise funds
through “Child Education Sponsorship” wherein you can help a child take proper education in life.
In addition to free education, the school also provides the children with free study materials, uniforms, and meals. Festivals like Ashadi Ekadashi, Rakshabandhan, Independence and Republic Days etc. are celebrated so that the students are made to understand their significance
To understand the importance of the Sun and Moon in our life, their birthdays are celebrated too.
World Environment Day is also celebrated to make them understand the importance of a healthy and cleaner environment. Picnics are arranged every year to visit nearby places of historic importance.
